Calling all men

Popular mechanics has release their “100 Skills Every Man Should Know: 2008’s Ultimate DIY List”. In perusing the list, I find that I’m a bit lacking in a few areas.

Brains and charm are fine, but a real guy needs to know how to do real stuff. After months of debate among PM’s expert editors, here’s our lineup of essential skills, broken down in 10 categories for the competent man—plus 20 tools you need to own.

I’ll have to work on the automotive section more than any other. But since I hate dealing with cars, I’m doubtful of any progress I will make.
